About Aphrodite Beauty
Aphrodite Beauty is situated along Blackwood High Street. Our new high end, bright and vibrant clinic sets us apart from other beauty salons in the area. We offer premium beauty treatments to a vast clientele in and around Blackwood, and as far as Cyprus. Aphrodite Beauty has been established for many years and understands clients needs when it comes to delivering an A-Class service. We have vast experience in the beauty industry and all staff are trained to a high standard. Aphrodite Beauty prides itself in confidentiality, customer care and the delivery of its treatments.
We are situated in a prime location in the High Street having a large car park with CCTV to the rear of the building.
Aphrodite Beauty offers all our clients a wide range of hot beverages whilst having your treatments.
Situated on our top floor, we have Lara Prothero-Whittaker, owner of Serenity Movement & Meditation, who specialises in yoga, Pilates, PT, movement and massage.

Rachael Blackler
Rachael is the Company Director/Owner of Aphrodite Beauty Therapy Clinic Ltd.
Rachael has 24+ years experience as a qualified beauty therapist. Rachael is constantly updating her skills and offers a wide range of treatments.
Her attention to detail and commitment to the industry is second to none. Rachael is passionate and offers her knowledge and skills to all her clients.
Rachael specialises in the more advanced treatments like Semi-Permanent Make-Up (SPMU). She enjoys it and the best thing, she's good at it. Your in safe hands!
Rachael has spent hundreds of hours gaining experience and offering the best SPMU treatments. Rachael has a large clientele in SPMU building a solid reputation.
Rachael has a vast client base with an outstanding following on social media.
Kirsty James-Roberts
Kirsty is our manager and experienced senior beautician; working alongside Rachael to keep the salon running smoothly. Kirsty comes to us with several years experience in beauty and has a keen eye for detail.
Kirsty is always keen to advance her skills to deliver a professional service. Kirsty is a senior therapist at Aphrodite and is trained in most of the services we offer at the salon.
Kirsty has a keen interest in drama and performing on stage with the Tredegar Operatic Society with a few performances under her belt, like Fiddler on the Roof and Kinky Boots. Kirsty is super talented and can hold a note or two on the boards (stage).
Nicole Jenkins
Nicole has been a member of the Aphrodite team for the past three years as a Level 3 beautician and is experienced in dealing with clients and their beauty needs in a salon environment.
Nicole has the spectrum to offer basic to advanced beauty treatments and she is constantly learning and eager to enhance her skills to offer new treatments.
Nicole excels at doing her clients nails, she loves unique and bespoke nail art and lash extensions.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys keeping fit and keeping herself busy with family, friends and life.
Devon Cheshire
With three years of training behind her, Devon is a talented nail technician with a real passion for creating beautiful nails. She trained at Cardiff & Vale College, building a strong foundation in nail care and technique before bringing her skills into the salon.
Devon loves nothing more than getting creative with nails and helping clients feeling their best.
Outside of the salon, you'll usuaully find her enjoying music and socialising with friends - although, if you ask her, doing her nails is definitely her favourite thing!
Siobhan John
With over seven years experience in the beauty industry, Siobhan is a senior therapist and our Aphrodite 'brow and lash queen!'. She has a real talent for creating beautiful brows and lashes, helping every client feel confident and their best.
Outside of the salon, Siobhan loves spending time with her children. She is a bubbly, family-orientated person who loves socialising and spending time with people she cares about most.
