General
- The therapist has the right to refuse any treatment at anytime time if felt threatened.
- All children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times in all circumstances.
- The therapist has the right to stop any treatment if the practitioner feels there are any contraindications between the treatment and the clients health.
- The therapist decision is final.
- All clients are expected to arrive at their appointment on time (unless notice is given).
- It is important that all clients regardless to treatments have plenty to drink prior to your appointment, hydration helps with all treatments offered at Aphrodite Beauty.
- The therapist delivers all treatments from a business premises and the client must always respect the therapist space and belongings.
- Products purchased from Aphrodite Beauty cannot be returned for health and safety purposes. Unless faulty where the goods will be inspected and if deemed faulty a full refund will be given.
- Credit and Debit Cards, along with Apple and Android Pay are accepted at Aphrodite Beauty. There is no additional charges for any card payments.
- All clients are requested to complete the appropriate forms about their health, medication and consent if applicable for the treatment. Without these forms no treatment or further appointments will be offered.
- All clients personal information will be kept for the therapist files for the purpose of audit and further treatment. All personal information is kept confidential & secure.
- When making an appointment you may be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. This fee will be taken off your treatment. We can not refund this deposit but we can move your appointment if needed. Deposits can be taken in person, over the phone and via bank transfer (more information under our Privacy Policy).
- Some beauty treatments require a consultation. The therapist needs and is required by law to carry out a full assessment before any treatments are carried out.
- The client can request further consultations in person or via email, text or by telephone if needed. The therapist shall respond at an appropriate time that suits the practitioner.
- All consultations are complimentary.
- After any treatments undertaken at Aphrodite Beauty the therapist will advise on the appropriate aftercare, the client is required to adhere to this information to get the best out of their recent treatment. The therapist is NOT responsible or liable for any failed aftercare once treatment has been administered.
- The therapist is fully certified to carry out all treatments offered and has the appropriate liability insurance with certificates available upon request if not already presented in the treatment room environment.
- The therapist will ensure that all treatments are carried out in the appropriate setting and are clean and tidy, with all used equipment disposed of appropriately.
- Your therapist is a professional and there to treat you with dignity, respect and the required treatment. No additional services shall be acted on or solicited by the therapist. This will not be tolerated, you will be asked to leave!
- If a client is attending a beauty consultation, the therapist may require photos to satisfy insurance requirements or discuss your treatment/s with other professionals in order to obtain the appropriate treatment.
- The therapist may ask if photo’s can be taken with certain treatments for validation, training and portfolio purposes. Certain photos taken will be used for marketing purposes, but Aphrodite Beauty will always obtain consent.
- The client can opt out of marketing at any time, either by ticking the box on the consent form or asking the therapist to remove their details from the database.
- Aphrodite Beauty takes no responsibility for any clients personal belongings under any circumstances.
- All complaints are to be presented to Aphrodite Beauty in writing within 7 days of any incident via email or post. Complaints will be dealt with, within 30 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
- Gift Vouchers can be made out for any amount but has a minimum spend of £5.
- Requested amounts for any gift voucher can only be paid for via the following methods..... cash, bank transfer (bank details available upon request), debit card, credit card, Apple or Android Pay.
- Each gift voucher issued by Aphrodite Beauty is non-transferable or refundable in any circumstance.
- Each gift voucher issued by Aphrodite Beauty has an expiry date set at six months from the date of issue.
- Gift vouchers will be sent out via first class post and will be subject to an additional £1.95 charge to cover the cost of a signed delivery via Royal Mail. If paying by bank transfer then this charge must be added to the overall total when making payment.
- Should a gift voucher issued by Aphrodite Beauty be used fraudulently in any circumstance then the police will be called and the client will be banned from any further treatments.
- Bank cheques are not accepted
- Aphrodite Beauty books its clients via an online booking portal called TIMELY. Client's information will never be sold to a third party and will remain confidential. Payment details are encrypted and are not visible to Aphrodite Beauty.
- Aphrodite Beauty runs a cancellation policy through TIMELY which clients adhere to when making a booking. Cancellation fees can be changed at anytime at the discretion of the management.
Deposits, Cancellations & No Shows
- Deposits will be taken for any treatment that exceeds 30 minutes long.
- Deposits will be refunded at the discretion of the management providing they do not fall under any of the points below.
- No deposit will be refunded under any circumstance if the client/s does not arrive for their appointment/s.
- No deposit will be refunded under any circumstance if the appointment is cancelled within 24hrs of the appointment time.
- No deposit will be moved to another appointment slot if the client does not show for their original appointment.
- ALL clients must give a minimum of 24hrs notice to change or cancel their appointment and move the deposit to another slot.
- Cancelling or re-scheduling of appointment(s) must be carried out before the minimum 24hrs notice period or a cancellation fee applies.
- Cancellation fees are charged at 50% of each cancelled service, this includes and deposit already taken.
- Fees are chargeable on day of cancellation, re-scheduling or non-attendance of appointment via booking app 'Charge to Card'.
- Chargeable fees not fulfilled via booking app will be added to your account and will be required to be paid when you attend your next appointment.
- Management reserves the right to change the cancellation policy as and when needed.
Please not, this policy is to safeguard the sustainability of the business.
Competitions, Raffles, Offers & Loyalty Scheme
- All treatments are subject to a complimentary consultation before treatments are carried out.
- No refunds of any kind are permitted unless the client is deemed unsafe to receive the treatment where their nominal fee will be refunded minus any transfer fees.
- Clients are obligated to make an informed decision based on the information supplied from the information contained on this website before entering any of Aphrodite Beauty competitions.
- Clients are recommended to send any queries or questions about the competition before entering as no refunds can be given once payment is made.
- All clients that enter must be 18 years or older on the day of entering the competition (proof of age maybe required).
- Clients are welcome to enter multiple times. Each fee paid via PayPal, bank transfer or debit/credit cards will be classed as an entry to the raffle.
- The offered treatment is non-transferable to any other treatment or to any other person.
- No prizes awarded can be used in conjunction with any other offer held by Aphrodite Beauty.
- All treatments are subject to medical conditions or medication.
- The winner must use their prize within 30 days of the competition closing or unless stated by Aphrodite Beauty.
- The therapists word is final and can refuse treatment should they feel the treatment unsafe for the client.
- The draw date will be stated on all marketing material and Aphrodite Beauty will randomly select a winner on that date.
- Aphrodite Beauty reserves the right to withdraw a competition or raffle at anytime. In this case Aphrodite Beauty will notify the entrants and refund their fees minus any transfer fees.
- Clients maybe expected to keep a diary and take their own photos as certain treatments develop and supply the information back to Aphrodite Beauty.
- The raffle will be drawn via iOS app called 'Riffle Raffle' and the winning name will be published on Aphrodite Beauty Facebook page and the winner will be notified.
- All our other T&C's are included where necessary.
- Aphrodite Beauty runs a loyalty scheme. Clients will be issued a card which will be stamped after each treatment (per single treatment). A completed loyalty card will give the client a £5 discount off their NEXT booked treatment. Aphrodite Beauty is not responsible for honouring lost or damaged loyalty cards. NO card, NO discount!
Semi-Permanent Make Up (SPMU)
- All clients MUST undertake a consultation and patch test prior to an SPMU treatment.
- All SPMU treatments require a £50 deposit prior to treatment.
- The £50 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance once your treatment appointment is booked.
- The treatment appointment can be moved if no longer convenient and will only be changed a maximum of two times.
- The practitioner is not responsible for any issues after the treatment regarding information they were not made aware of. Full disclosure is required at consultation i.e. health, medication etc.
- The client is responsible to adhere to all aftercare advice. The practitioner is only responsible for delivering that information and providing any creams or ointments needed.
- All issues after your treatment must be raised immediately.
- The practitioners word is final and has the right to refuse treatment if you're not suitable, have certain health issues or on medication that makes the treatment dangerous to your health.
- Before and after photo's must be taken to satisfy the clinics indemnity insurance. Some photo's maybe used for marketing purposes and consent will be obtained via your consent form or by making the practitioner aware at consultation of treatment appointment.
- The client must be aware that this treatment may cause swelling, redness to the skins, itchiness and scabbing to the area. This is expected! The treatment area can also be darker than expected for the first few days until they finish scabbing. The pigment will fade to a level, this is to be expected.
- If the price you pay for the treatment includes a top up, it's the clients responsibility to attend that appointment or make an appointment when the practitioner indicates.
- Top up appointments are to be made after all treatments. If missed you maybe charged for a full treatment if too much time has passed.
Hot & Cold Beverages
- All clients booked and paying for treatments are welcome to one hot or cold beverage, free of charge. A nominal fee will be charged after your first beverage is taken.
- Aphrodite Beauty offers a take out service via its vending service where a nominal fee will be charged.
